PSA publishes 6,451-item theft list
PSA’s October 23 update adds an actionable development to the October 13 FedEx shipment theft: a public list of 6,451 stolen items, with certification numbers and serial numbers where applicable. PSA says the affected grading certificates have been deactivated and that local police and the FBI are investigating.
PSA also says affected grading fees have been refunded separately from item compensation. For customers using PSA return shipping and insurance, compensation is based on fair market value up to the declared Maximum Insured Value. Customers who used their own labels are being handled directly; dealer submitters should contact their dealer. These are PSA’s stated arrangements, not confirmation of any individual settlement.
