POKÉMON TCG · JAPAN · ANNOUNCED OCTOBER 16
Japanese Pokémon Promo Pack 6 starts November 1
Pokémon Japan has revealed the sixth MEGA-series promo pack, with distribution scheduled to begin November 1, 2026 at participating Pokémon Card Gyms in Japan. Each pack contains one randomly selected card from seven possibilities, including Mega Heatran ex.
These are Japanese-language event promos, earned through eligible activities such as Gym Battles—not a newly announced English retail booster. The official page explains participation and winner rewards, with supplies limited.
For collectors: If you collect Japanese promos, check the participating store’s event requirements before visiting. One pack does not guarantee Mega Heatran ex, and this announcement establishes no English release date.

2026 Topps Chrome Football preorder: October 19 at 1 p.m. EDT
Topps lists Monday, October 19 at 1 p.m. U.S. Eastern Daylight Time for the 2026 Topps Chrome Football preorder. Its product page and release calendar agree on that time—5 p.m. UTC.
The announced buying routes differ by format: Hobby boxes, Jumbo boxes and Hobby cases through EQL; Hanger, Value and Mega boxes through Topps.com while supplies last. The product page also links the checklist.
For collectors: Decide which format you want before the window opens, then read that listing’s entry or purchase terms. This is a preorder opening, not a confirmed shipping date; check delivery estimates before committing.
PANINI · CUSTOMER SERVICE · PUBLISHED OCTOBER 16
Panini posts its September 28–October 16 redemption update
Waiting on a redemption? Panini’s October 16 update provides downloadable PDF and Excel lists for the reporting period September 28–October 16, 2026.
Panini explains that reports can include additional batches of previously redeemed cards, and some listed cards may have been fulfilled with replacements. A name on the report is therefore not proof that a particular customer’s original card has shipped.
For collectors: Search the report for your exact product, player and card, then check your own redemption account for order-specific progress. Ask Panini customer service about discrepancies instead of treating the public list as a delivery promise.
CGC · NORWAY · ANNOUNCED OCTOBER 15
CGC submissions at Nordic Card Show: October 31–November 1
CGC announced that its authorized dealer JD Collectibles will accept trading-card submissions at the Nordic Card Show at Fjellhamar Arena in Norway on October 31 and November 1, 2026.
TCG submissions will be graded in Munich, Germany; sports and non-sports cards will travel to Sarasota, Florida. This is a dealer drop-off arrangement, rather than a promise of grading and collection at the show.
For collectors: Confirm fees, transport and return arrangements with the dealer before handing over cards, and keep your submission-form copy. For broader planning, compare service requirements in our grading-company guide below.
